Flagstaff, Family, and Freezing Temps

I can hardly believe it, but this is my fourth visit to Flagstaff in the past 54 weeks. This is definitely one of the major benefits of our life on the road. After only seeing my sister Sarah’s family once a year for the last 8 years, it feels great to now have our kids truly know and love each other. It has also strengthened our relationship with Sarah and Bill.

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. No pressure to buy gifts, go to church, or dress up…simply hang out with family and enjoy great food.  That exactly what we did in Flagstaff.  By day we hiked and enjoyed the outdoors and by night we ate and conversed (and froze a few pipes in the van).
