After a few days in the city we were ready to get back to camping. We found Red Rock Park just off I-40 and settled in for another night of primitive camping. Luckily we stopped early enough in the day to sneak in a hike before sundown. The hike was nothing to crazy, but as we climbed the canyon walls Derek displayed a definite fear of heights. Hopefully it’s just a temporary fear.
We ate dinner and washed dishes as the kids watched Disney’s Frozen. Little did we know that within hours we’d all be frozen too. It was a clear cold night that required lots of snuggling to keep warm. When we woke in the morning the rinse water was frozen solid. How long until we’re in Baja?
